Florida Product Approval numbers look like FL#####-R# — the R# is the revision. Always specify the current revision on your permit application.
HVHZ (High Velocity Hurricane Zone) = Miami-Dade and Broward counties. HVHZ approval is required for any glazing installed in those counties. Palm Beach and Wind-Borne Debris Regions use Florida Product Approval only, unless the product is HVHZ-listed.
